Ashley is an experienced professional in addressing child abuse and neglect. Prior to being appointed as the Executive Director of The Children’s Center of Medina County, Ashley led a team of Child Abuse and Neglect Investigators in Geauga County. Also a trained forensic interviewer, Ashley has a passion for reducing the risk of child abuse and neglect, minimizing childhood trauma, and making a difference in the life of children. Originally from the Cleveland area, Ashley married her high school {hockey player} sweetheart who she met on the ice. Ashley and her husband Fred are proud parents of two young children, Stella and Baby Freddie. Their black lab, Cully, accompanies Ashley to work each day to provide support and comfort to victims of child abuse and their families. Ashley is a graduate from Ohio University, and holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology. She is so excited about the opportunity to join the Cleveland Angels Board and knows the difference a supportive community has on families. |
