Hannah budic
Wife, Mom, Explorer, Artist, Athlete, Lover of People
Likes: The little things, family time, sports, writing, art, being active, serving, empathy and compassion Dislikes: Rushing, losing things, delegating, asking for help, impatience and arrogance When Hannah was growing up, her parents became licensed foster parents and, as a family, they decided to care for newborns in the foster care system. Over a span of several years, they had 18 babies in their home and she feels "the experiences with those precious lives absolutely created part of who she is." Hannah has a heart for people – and wants to serve, help, protect and simply be there for anyone who could use the support. When she learned about Cleveland Angels, she was immediately excited by the mission, core values and vision! At Cleveland Angels, “We wrap community around children, youth, and families experiencing foster care.” I’m so glad to be part of this action for people. Hannah earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Baldwin-Wallace University in 2001 and began her career in higher education at BW shortly thereafter. She served as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission and then Adult & Graduate Education Admission for several years before stepping away in 2012 to stay at home with her young kids. During her time at home, Hannah committed to volunteer work in the community, joined the Institutional Review Board at Baldwin-Wallace University, the Civil Service Commission for the City of Berea, and the Board for the Berea Community Learning Farm. She also began her own small art business in 2016 which she continues to do on a small scale in her spare time. She met her husband, Tim at BW as student-athletes and they have two sons; TJ, 15 and Drew, 8. She loves cheering her kids on in their lives, their sports and watching them grow into who they’re meant to be. Besides her family, Hannah's passions include running, being outdoors, writing, competitive sports and working on her art! |
