Jennifer was inspired to seek an internship with Cleveland Angels after completing a semester long research project on the accessibility of college for children experiencing foster care. The research paper focused on the important role that mentors play in the lives of youth experiencing foster care and how their presence dramatically increases the likelihood that the youth will graduate high school and go on to higher education.
Jennifer was drawn to Cleveland Angels because of their strong core values of mentorship, relationship building, and intentional giving. She fully believes that the Cleveland Angels empowers children experiencing foster care to move on to higher education and she is so excited to be a part of such an amazing organization.
