Michael has been married to Michelle, a probate attorney, for 26 years and has three wonderful children, Colin (24), Kathryn (21), Brady (16). 

Michael graduated from the University of Toledo and has been in the employee benefits and insurance industry since 1995. He has worked with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue shield and has more than 25 years of experience serving as a benefit consultant, specializing in not-for-profit and public sector employers in Ohio. 

During his career, Michael has had the opportunity to observe the tremendous work being done by local not-for-profits caring for the most vulnerable beneficiaries. Michael’s personal experience as an adoptee motivates his call for volunteering and giving back to his community.
