Rahman “Ray” Riaz grew up in North Royalton, Ohio, where he developed a strong appreciation for community, hard work, and service to others. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University before attending Northeast Ohio Medical University, where he completed his medical degree. He will begin his anesthesiology residency in July. In addition to his medical training, Ray has a strong interest in real estate development and enjoys exploring opportunities in the space alongside his professional career.

He values strategic thinking, long-term planning, and building sustainable projects—skills he also brings to his work in service and leadership roles. In his free time, he enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and basketball.

Joining the Board of the Cleveland Angels is an honor for Ray and he is excited to support the organization’s mission and help improve the lives of children and families in the foster care system.
