Christy grew up in Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.  She moved to Ohio for a job in construction management where she met her husband, Jake.  Christy and Jake have been married for 14 years and together have 4 children.  After leaving the construction industry, Christy spent 5 years as a stay at home mom homeschooling her two oldest children. During that time, she and Jake were foster parents for 4 years through Cuyahoga County and adopted one of their children through that experience.  

Christy learned about Cleveland Angels seeing it as an opportunity to continue her passion for foster care in a different area. Christy is passionate about educating others about foster care and advocating and supporting children and families touched by foster care.  When Christy isn't taxi-ing her family around, she enjoys reading, sitting on her deck and riding the Peloton.
