Christy grew up in Pennsylvania where she earned a bachelors degree from Penn State University. She moved to Ohio for a job in construction management where she met her husband, Jake. Christy and Jake have been married for 11 years and together have 4 children. After leaving the construction industry, Christy spent 5 years as a stay at home mom homeschooling her two oldest children. During that time, she and Jake spent 4 years as foster parents through Cuyahoga County and adopted one of their children through that experience.
Christy believes that every child should feel loved and their uniqueness nurtured for the special person they were designed to be. Whether navigating the world of special needs or finding the right fit for each of her children to thrive, Christy invests her time and energy into the future of children. When she isn’t running neuro feedback therapy and fighting insurance companies for learning disability coverage, Christy enjoys reading, running and attending boxing classes.
