We currently have 28 amazing families waiting to be matched in our Love Box program and 15 youth waiting to be matched in Dare to Dream. Our heart at Cleveland Angels is to serve every family that makes the decision to foster. Our organization and families need committed and caring volunteers to step in and be part of a community of support. FAMILIES
Family #1 - Located in Cuyahoga Falls
Couple fostering in Cuyahoga Falls looking for a community of support while raising a 4-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter. After encountering some challenges, this family reached out and express they would love emotional support from caring people. They would greatly enjoy practical resources, guidance, and community outings from their volunteer/soon-to-be friend. Let's walk alongside this family so they can continue to provide the best care for their youth!

Family #2 - Located in Hudson
Loving foster family in Hudson raising two bio teens ages 14 and 16, an adopted 9-year-old son, and a baby girl in care. They are awaiting kind individuals to support their journey through foster care and adoption. This family could appreciate engaging activities and resources, and share they they would love fun surprises to make their children feel loved and special. If their story resonates with you, consider joining their journey!

Family #3 - Located in North Ridgeville
This foster family located in North Ridgeville consists of one couple, two teens, and three children between the ages of 4 and 7. They are looking forward to connecting with someone who is willing to offer tangible and emotional support. They place value on relationship-based activities, and would match well with someone who has a great listening ear, can take initiative to plan fun outings, and will be able to provide guidance for the younger ones. Family #4 - Located in East Cleveland
After rising three adult children and a teen, this loving female caregiver decided to open her home as a kinship placement to her teen god-daughter after she was experiencing challenges living within the foster care system. The family is no looking to form a connection with someone who can provide practical support, mentorship, and thoughtful activities as they continue to build their bond. Could you be the one to wrap love and care around this family?

Family #5 - Located in Madison
This amazing family consists of 12 members; two caregivers, three adopted children, and seven youth in care. With so many personalities, you can expect there will certainly never be a dull moment in their household! After 5 years of fostering and with 10 children in their home -- financial and emotional support would go a long way. They would love someone willing to deliver personalized care packages, plan creative activities, and offer mentorship to their youth. Family #6 - Located in Columbia Station
This loving two-parent home is raising an adopted daughter, two bio children, and fostering an infant. The family would really make use of baby items for their new 1-month-old. They would also love support through babysitting, meal sharing, and fun activities. Let's come together and show up for this caring family.

Family #7 - Located in Mentor
This foster couple is working hard to be an ongoing safe place for children in Mentor, Ohio. They typically take in newborns and are currently caring for a 7-month-old along with their adopted 2-year-old. They would love a volunteer willing to give time to babysit, provide emotional support, plan fun experiences, and deliver practical resources. If you love baby cuddles, consider developing a meaningful relationship with this family!

Family #8 - Located in Lee-Miles Neighborhood
Come support this single foster mom caring for a 1-year-old boy. Mom is trying her best to provide after paying for daycare, diapers, and food. She would love practical and emotional support from someone who can consistently be there for her. Personalized monthly packages, babysitting, and fun activities would be great ways to support her. If you are looking for ways to engage in the community, start by forming a meaningful relationship with this wonderful family!

Family #9 - Located in Richmond Heights
These grandparents in the Richmond Heights area are caring for their two lovely granddaughters, ages 9 & 11. An ideal Love Box group for this family would include someone who can occasionally take the girls out for activities so that their grandparents could have a few hours of respite, and the family would welcome support through enrichment & arts and crafts for the girls. The 11-year-old has been matched with an individual Mentor through our Dare to Dream program as well! Would you like to join their Cleveland Angels support?

Family #10 - Located in Brooklyn Heights
This long-term foster family lovingly cares for 4 children, two with medical needs. Although they enjoy providing specialized care, they could use emotional support for their journey and would love someone who could occasionally babysit or help with transporting to appts, etc. They are a dedicated and friendly bunch!

Family #11 - Located in Cleveland Heights
This two parent household is caring for one of their young cousins. The family could not be more happy to be reunited in this kinship placement. The young boy is looking forward to playing sports and getting involved in his new community. However, with many appointments and limited assistance, the family would appreciate support from a caring volunteer. Someone who can provide resources, personalized care packages, and planned activities would be ideal for this family. If this sounds like you, apply now!

Family #12 - Located in Elyria
This kinship/foster home cares for a 12-year-old son and twin 4-year-olds in foster care. The caregivers are looking for a community of support because they have found that the experience can be isolating for them. After one of the caregivers chose to stop working full-time to care for their children, the family would appreciate anything from emotional care to tangible resources. Family #13 - Located in Brook Park
A single foster mom in her 50s who has fostered 40 kids in her time as a caregiver is seeking holistic support. She currently has 3 boys in her home ages 10, 4, and 9. These boys have been through a significant amount of trauma and have kept her very busy over the years they have been with her. An ideal group would be willing to show up consistently to spend time with the boys monthly, and she is hopeful for at least one man to be in the groups so the kids can have a healthy male in their life. This foster mom things the kids can really benefit from individual time with member of a love box group. She does a lot of things with them in the Summer and could use extra hands and help to facilitate new experiences for them to do all together. Join her support system today!

YOUTH
Youth #1 - Located in Cleveland's East Side
This very special 16-year-old youth is in Cleveland's East Side and we are seeking a very special mentor. He enjoys comics, likes school, and would benefit from an additional strong male presence in his life. He lives in a loving foster home with incredible family support, and would welcome a mentor who can help him expand his world through brief outings, exposure to experiences in nature, guiding conversations about relationships, and someone who can be a stable, consistent, and caring force in his life.

Youth #2 - Located in Collinwood
This bright youth has a big smile. They are living in a supportive group home environment in their own apartment space, where they have a lot of independence This youth is excited at the idea of a male mentor, preferable between the ages of 40 and 60. They would benefit from a strong male role model who also has a strong appreciation for music, as composing music and doing sound engineering is his passion. They love to play piano, and are hoping to create a career in music! If you have interest in learning more about this youth, contact us!

Youth #3 - Located in East Cleveland
We are so happy to have this special 16-year-old in our program! She is talented with technology, putting things together, and building things. Her goals are to be successful, go to college, get a degree and a good job, and possibly go into the military. After moving from a longer-term placement, she is currently working on adjusting to her new home. She wants to go out and do more, get her driver's license, and look into possible career paths. She sees herself being comfortable around a talkative female who can bring her out of her shell and help her achieve these important milestones. Consider being that unique person!

Youth #4 - Located in Elyria
This youth is a bright, slightly shy 17-year-old. She loves to draw, is interested in writing and reading poetry, and has an interest in forensic psychology. She has found herself a job for after school 5 days per week, and is interested in matching with someone who is willing to help her mature more. She would like to get her driver's license, and to begin thinking about what is possible for her beyond high school. She is dealing with a lot of feelings regarding her family situation and would appreciate guidance through this. A kind and caring person that can empower her will be a great fit. Youth #5 - Located in Euclid
This youth is an extremely outgoing, active, and curious 11-year-old boy waiting for a kind mentor to come into his life! Because his caregiver is older, he would love someone who has a lot of energy and time to share. He love playing soccer and baseball, spending time outdoors, and talking, going out to eat, and watching scary movies -- all perfect activities to do with a mentor. He is also looking forward to middle school next year, and wants to work on becoming more independent and ignoring drama. Youth #6 - Located in South Collinwood
This youth is a confident, motivated, and fun 14-year-old. He thinks school is boring but enjoys science and social studies more than other subjects. This youth care a lot about sports, especially basketball. He is looking forward to getting a Summer job this year. At this point in time, he sees himself going to college for nursing in the future. He would do well with a mentor with knowledge of the medical field and can be described as "chill." He can see them doing activities such as going to a trampoline park and shipping at the mall, especially the shoe stores. Consider developing a meaningful relationship with this youth!

Youth #7 - Located in South Collinwood
This youth is a kind, funny, and determined 11-year-old waiting for a mentor. He is a 6th grader who finds school to be boring but says he is going well in all of his classes. He is very focused on football but also enjoys basketball, playing video games, and drawing. He envisions himself going to college for engineering. He would love a "chill and goofy" mentor who is willing to help him accomplish his goals and cheer him on at his important events. Some activities he would like to do would be to go shopping and to Buffalo Wild Wings together. Reach out to us about mentoring with this youth!

Youth #8 - Located in Euclid
This youth is 12-years-old and currently in the 6th grade. He takes a while to warm up to new people but when he gets comfortable you can see that he is a funny, energetic, kind young man! He enjoys being outdoors, going bike riding, and playing his favorite video game, Roblox. He is looking for a mentor who likes to be active, play video games, and can help him create and complete a bucketlist of activities and goals! A mentor who is patient, active, and a good role model would be a great match. If this sounds like you, consider applying!

Youth #9 - Located in Old Brooklyn
This kind-hearted and calm 13-year-old girl is currently in the 7th grade and enjoys playing basketball and cheerleading for her school. Some fun facts about her are -- she has the coolest shoe collection, and likes to draw and dance in her free time! She is looking for a mentor who can tutor her in school, help her with her attitude, and also do fun activities with her. She is looking forward to matching with someone "cool"! Youth #10 - Located in Elyria
This pleasant 11-year-old is in need of a very patient, gentle, female mentor. She hopes for someone on the younger side who likes to be active. This youth enjoys sketching, painting and singing, and has an interest in learning to skateboard. Her caregivers would like someone to enter her life just for her, spend time helping her enrich her world, and help with her confidence. Join our program to support this youth!

Youth #11 - Located in Cleveland Heights
This 14-year-old youth is a very respectful, kind, and outgoing young man. Basketball is his favorite sport, and he is excited to play on this new school's team next year. He does well in school but could use some assistance in math. He is also looking forward to doing some career exploration within the next few years. He describes his best qualities as having a great work ethic and that he is extremely helpful toward others. He would love a mentor who is athletic, easy to talk to, and has been to college.
