Gabby Hart is a Cleveland native and CSU alumna who returned home to join WOIO as an investigative reporter and anchor in October 2023. Gabby, a former foster child is passionate about mentoring and uplifting young foster girls/teens. Gabby is ecstatic to be back in the city that raised her. She is ready to be a voice for the voiceless and to hold those in positions of power accountable. Gabby started her career on the assignment desk in Cleveland from 2013 to 2015. Before coming home, she worked as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor in Houston, Texas, from 2021 to 2023. There, she took over "The Missing," a series that highlighted long-term missing people in the greater Houston area and brought results and answers to families. She also worked as a general assignment reporter in Las Vegas, Nevada, from 2017 to 2021, and as a news producer and reporter in Jackson, Mississippi, from 2015 to 2017. In her free time, she travels the globe, takes care of her fur baby, and engages in adrenaline-based activities.
