Garrett grew up in Concord, Ohio and was raised by his mother and grandparents. Garrett credits much of his success to his mother, who gave him every chance to succeed and taught him the value of hard work and dedication. He graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Development and a Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University College of Law.
 
Garrett is an attorney at Walter | Haverfield LLP, where he focuses his practice on real estate development, corporate real estate services, and real estate finance. Garrett has represented and negotiated terms on behalf of developers, lenders, borrowers, and property owners in complex real estate transactions and is experienced in the formation of various business entities. Prior to joining Walter | Haverfield, Garrett worked for a prominent real estate development company where he gained experience and participated in the ground up development of large multifamily projects and the acquisition and disposition of a variety of commercial and residential properties.
 
Garrett resides, with his Bernese Mountain Dog Chester, in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland. In his free time, Garrett loves to spend time with his family and friends, scuba dive, golf, and cook. Joining the Board of the Cleveland Angels has been an honor for Garrett and he is excited to assist with the valuable work of the Cleveland Angels and amplify its mission.
