LAURA Marica
Advocate, Lifelong Learner, Ally, Sister, Daughter, Friend
Likes: Traveling, social gatherings, coffee, trying new things, deep conversations, upcycling Dislikes: Cold weather, driving, closed mindsets, consumerism As a Case Manager, Laura loves having the opportunity to meet and connect with so many people in the Cleveland community. Her previous experience working in Cleveland schools to close the achievement gap inspired her to pursue her current position and get involved in the lives of youth who need support systems. In college, she had the opportunity to graduate with a degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Kent State University, where she learned tools and concepts she still heavily relies on today in her role. Today, Laura allows the values of community, compassion, and social justice to guide her journey in life. She entered the nonprofit field to become a driver for overwhelmingly positive and sustainable change for all causes. In her free time, Laura enjoys traveling, visiting local coffee shops, thrifting, and staying active. |
