Sally was born in Shanghai, China and grew up in West Virginia and Michigan. She graduated from University of Michigan with a BSE in Mechanical Engineering. For the past 20 years, she has been in Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product Development roles for the Construction and Consumer Products industries.

Throughout her education and career, Sally has been an active mentor and leader through community and corporate programs supporting youth, new workforce, and women in STEM. This is her third year working with Cleveland Angels, serving as both Dare to Dream Mentor and Love Box family support member. Sally sees firsthand the importance of consistent support and authentic relationship building in youth development.

Sally and her partner Todd live in Akron, Ohio with their 2 dogs and 12 chickens. She enjoys spending time with her 3 bonus children, extended family and friends by attending live concerts, sporting events, exploring the local food scene and traveling the world.
